Bethel Lumber Yard has been part of building in Bethel for three decades. Here's who we are and where we're headed.

Our story

Built for building out here

Bethel Lumber Yard opened in 1995. Since then it has supplied the people who build here: contractors framing houses, families adding a room, and crews from villages up and down the river putting up homes, sheds, and steam houses.

Out here you can't just run to another store across town when you're short a box of screws. That's why the yard has always kept a deep stock of lumber, plumbing, electrical, heating, and hardware in one place.

Now the yard has new owners. They're keeping what made it work and building on it, with friendly help at the counter and an easier way to get orders out to the villages.

A fresh start

Brighter, better organized

The store has a new look inside: numbered aisles with clear signs, bright lighting, a full wall of power tools from DeWalt, Milwaukee, Skil, and Craftsman, a paint counter that tints your color in store, Moen and Delta faucets, and a Key Center for cutting keys. Finding what you came for is quicker than ever.
